Specialist IT recruiter InterQuest has won a three-year extension to a contract with Carphone Warehouse with the staffing company providing contingent workforce solutions to the mobile phone retailer.
InterQuest has been working with Carphone Warehouse since May 2010, delivering a managed service for the recruitment and management of all contract, interim and temporary workers across the business.
Commenting on the contract extension, David Price, resourcing manager at Carphone Warehouse, said: “InterQuest has been a supplier to Carphone Warehouse for over ten years and their solutions business have been our chosen partner for providing a managed service for all contract and temporary hires under the Contractor Workforce Management framework since 2010.
“InterQuest … have implemented numerous initiatives' and cost savings programmes and supported greatly on the Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) project. The onsite and offsite team are fully integrated into our business and at times seem like an extension of our own resourcing team.”
Last month, InterQuest posted a -7% fall in 2012 revenue, following major reorganisation processes to move into specialist niche recruitment markets. One of the largest IT staffing firms in Europe, the company derives the majority of its revenue [2012: £112.7 million] from contract recruitment where sales dropped in 2012.
