Catch Resource Management, an IT recruitment specialist, saw 2012 turnover jump by +32% to £7.5 million when compared to a year ago. The firm said that “record trading figures” continued for January 2013.
The company, which was founded 12 years ago and supplies SAP, Oracle and Java trained professionals, improved financial performance through new client wins and investments last year. New wins have included exclusive agreements for the supply of JD Edwards resource to Beoley Mill Software and an entire Microsoft Dynamics AX team for Kuoni GTS.
“We set aggressive targets for 2012, especially for such a tough market and so are especially delighted to have attained these. We believe these results are an indication that our aim of bringing a new professionalism to mid- to senior-level IT recruitment is being achieved,” said Graham Poll from Catch.
Catch Resource Management specialises in recruiting mid- and senior-level ERP, Java, .NET and other IT professionals in the UK and Europe. Professionals with this type of experience are particularly high in demand.
But IT skills shortages remain a massive challenge for staffing companies across Europe. Despite this, the European IT staffing market is expected to show further growth this year, according to research by Staffing Industry Analysts.
