Specialist recruitment firm HornbyChapman has announced its acquisition of contract recruitment firm SkillsHub Ltd on 1 October 2013. SkillsHub was founded by George Stavrinidis, who will become a non-executive director of HornbyChapman.
Commenting on the acquisition, Co-Founder and Managing director Paul Chapman said: “Over the last seven years we have built a stellar reputation as the pre-eminent provider of senior, permanent professionals in the asset servicing sector and combining with SkillsHub's resources means we can extend our offering to satisfy our clients' requirements for quality contract staff as well as offer our candidates an even wider choice of attractive roles.”
He added: “George has built a strong reputation for high quality candidates and relationships and we look forward to expanding upon this; we are also delighted that George will remain closely associated our firm going forward.”
“Our plan for the expansion of HornbyChapman Interim will be akin to that for HornbyChapman itself; measured and considered, working with only the highest level clients and candidates in our chosen, post-trade sector on a completely global basis,” he concluded.
The financial details of the acquisition were not released, however, the firm did state that they had acquired the firm in order to broaden their product offering in response to changing industry and client demands.
