HR employees are among the most satisfied workers in the UK workforce, according to the latest ‘Job market insight’ report from recruitment firm Reed. The majority of respondents (78.6%) confirmed that they are satisfied or very satisfied with their current role, while only 6% responded that they are unsatisfied or very unsatisfied.
Eight out of 10 (80.3%) HR employees feel secure or very secure in their current role, with 82% stating that the workforce in their current organisation is stable or very stable. As a result of this perceived security and stability, fewer than half (44.4%) of HR employees plan to look for a job in the next 12 months.
In the current economic climate, in which many companies are looking to grow their workforce, businesses need to invest in HR talent. The most common method organisations plan to deploy in order to maintain or grow talent levels is through training and development (54%). Other incentives include internal promotions (39%) and flexible working (36%).
