Berry Recruitment, the staffing firm with specialist divisions in the office and IT, technical, construction, industrial and catering sectors, has announced the acquisition of Wild Recruitment, the Hampshire-based staffing firm.
Under the stewardship of Kim Way, Wild has achieved a turnover in excess of 6 million Pounds. The company operates mainly in the south of England. Wild specialises within the office, contact centre, industrial, technical and senior selection sectors. Berry's Chairman, Tony Berry, commented "Wild is one of the best-run firms I have come across and this deal will significantly enhance our business and the service to our clients".
Tony Berry was previously Chairman of Blue Arrow when it acquired Manpower in 1987 and subsequently became Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club in 1991. Wild's Managing Director, Kim Way, said "we have grown Wild's business significantly since its inception but we felt that future development would be best achieved as part of a larger but similarly ambitious business. When we spoke to Tony and his team we knew that we could work together." The Berry group has 23 locations across the UK. Management expects to generate revenues of 30 million Pounds in 2011.
Deal metrics were not made available.
