Staffing agencies USG People of The Netherlands and Proffice of Sweden have announced their strategic co-operation agreement to work together on international assignments and allow each other better access to their respective marketplaces.
The agreement formalises a partnership that has already been in place for the last six months.
Robert Zandberg, acting CEO of USG People, said "the staffing market in the Nordic countries is still characterised by a low penetration rate and a slightly different framework of laws and regulations. Our partnership with Proffice offers opportunities for commercial synergies because we both have strong positions in the civil service, industrial and logistics sectors."
Lars Kry, President and CEO of Proffice, said "USG People is one of the top four largest staffing agencies in the European market. Combined with Proffice's expertise and knowledge of the four Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland) this co-operation will enable us to provide staffing services to our customers throughout Europe. Both organisations will have the opportunity to expand their customer base."
