Figures released by the Swiss federation of staffing companies (Swiss Staffing) report that temporary employment across Switzerland rose by +3% during July, compared with the same month last year. After falling back in May 2013, temporary staffing figures have increased in June and July.
Temporary recruitment sector growth since the beginning of the year fell slightly by -0.1%. Temporary recruitment growth fell on average, during the last 12 months, by -0.7%.
In the coming months temporary recruitment is expected to level off by the end of 2013. Over the past five years, temporary recruitment has traditionally peaked in September before declining toward the end of the year. Despite the more positive results, conflicting economic signals have made it more difficult for Swiss Staffing to provide a more detailed forecast.
