Global executive search firm Egon Zehnder announced the appointment of Rajeev Vasudeva to the position of CEO, reports the Economic Times of India. Mr Vasudeva is currently based in New Delhi and will relocate to Zurich in order to assume the role.
A formal announcement is still pending, however, Hilary Crnkovich, the global head of communications at Egon Zehnder, advised the Economic Times of India: “On behalf of Egon Zehnder we can confirm the appointment of Rajeev Vasudeva as CEO. Rajeev will assume the firm’s CEO position from Damien O’Brien who remains as global chairman.”
Egon Zehnder is a privately-owned search firm with 420 consultants working out of 68 offices in 41 countries. The firm specialises in searches for directors and senior level executives, providing consulting services to boards and management as well as team appraisals and leadership development.
Egon Zehnder is a partnership and Vasudeva became part of the global team a couple of years ago. His elevation to the global CEO role was decided in an internal meeting last week, industry officials said.
