The world’s largest recruitment firm, Switzerland-based Adecco Group, today announced the appointment of Robert P. Crouch as the new Regional Head of North America and joining the Adecco Group Executive Committee. He replaces Tig Gilliam who is to leave the Group entirely following his five year tenure with the firm. Mr Crouch will take on his new responsibilities from 1 May 2012.
A US national, Mr Crouch worked as Chief Financial Officer of MPS Group (which Adecco acquired in 2009) from 2001 until 2010 and was elected to the Board in 2008. He joined Accustaff (later MPS Group) in 1995, three years after its founding and played a key role in developing MPS Group, growing revenues to US$2.2 billion in 2008 during the financial crisis. Besides the Finance functions, Mr Crouch also led Legal, HR and Business Development at MPS.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In the fourth quarter 2011, revenues for Adecco North America remained flat at €917 million year-on-year.
