Swedish staffing firm Uniflex has won a highly competitive contract with SKL Kommentus with the recruiter supplying staffing services to the public sector across the country, the firm announced on Monday. This could increase revenue by an annual SEK 10 million (€1.2 million), Uniflex said.
Through its subsidiaries, SKL Kommentus is engaged in providing procurement services in the public sector.
The agreement allows Uniflex to supply its services to all municipalities, municipal corporations and county councils in Sweden. It includes the provision of staffing services within administration, finance and property.
Winning the agreement proved to be competitive and Uniflex was awarded the contract along with four other suppliers. The contract will be valid until the end of November 2014 and may then be extended for an additional two years.
Uniflex is one of Scandinavia’s largest staffing firms. Earlier this year, the company reported falling revenues as demand for recruitment services slowed, particularly in Sweden. In 2012, the firm made revenues of around SEK 1,577.6 million (€188.1 million).
