Swedish staffing firm Uniflex has won a highly competitive contract with Posten Meddelande, a division of the Swedish postal service. The recruiter will supply staffing services to the company.
The nationwide agreement runs until May 2016 and may then be extended for an additional two years. Uniflex was one of four suppliers winning the contract and hopes to increase revenue by an annual €3.5 million (SEK 30 million) following the deal.
The staffing firm has won a number of important contracts this year, including with public sector procurement provider SKL Kommentus. This deal could add an additional €1.2 million (SEK 10 million) to 2013 revenue figures. In April this year, the recruiter also entered into an agreement with technology company Metso Swedish AB which could potentially add an extra €3.6 million (SEK 30 million) to annual revenue.
Uniflex is one of Scandinavia’s largest staffing firms, but the firm has recently come under pressure from tough trading conditions. Earlier this year, the company reported falling revenues as demand for recruitment services slowed.
The company is now expecting a decline in sales this year after losing out on a lucrative contract with one of its biggest customers, Telenor Sweden. In 2012, the firm made revenues of around €188.1 million (SEK 1,577.6 million). The publicly-listed recruiter operates in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany.
