Swedish recruiter Uniflex has signed an agreement with global engineering and technology company Metso Swedish AB. The agreement came into force on Wednesday and will be valid until 2015.
It covers the hiring, recruitment and reassignment of staff to all Metso units in Sweden with positions including welders and CNC operators. Uniflex expects the contract win to add an extra €3.6 million (SEK 30 million) to annual revenue.
The staffing firm had worked with Metso before, but contracts were restricted to a local level. The new agreement will increase the company’s stance across the Swedish staffing market. This comes after the recruiter earlier this week announced another major contract win that could boost annual revenue by up to €1.2 million (SEK 10 million).
Uniflex is one of Scandinavia’s largest staffing firms. Earlier this year, the company reported falling revenues as demand for recruitment services slowed, particularly in Sweden. In 2012, the firm made revenues of around €188.1 million (SEK 1,577.6 million).
