Sweden — Svensk Internetrekrytering revenues down by -30%

Svensk Internetrekrytering AB (SIR:STO), the Sweden-based job board specialist, today announces interim results for Q3 2009.

Revenues fell by -30% from 723,000 Euro in Q3 2008 to 511,000 Euro in Q3 2009. The company made an operating loss of 48,000 Euro in Q3 2009 compared to an operating profit of 9,000 Euro in Q3 2008.


Loss after tax amounted to 38,000 Euro compared to a profit after tax of 9,600 Euro in Q3 2008.

CEO, Henry Speckled, said "operating profits improved when compared to the second quarter of 2009. Our focus for the future will continue to be on improving profitability by intensifying our market efforts along with maintaining cost effectiveness."

Svensk Internetrekrytering AB owns and operates 34 job websites in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Germany. The company's products comprise job offers, banners, company presentations and e-postcards mainly to the private sector, but also to municipalities and government authorities, as well as recruitment companies.
In early trading Svensk Internetrekrytering's shares were up by 3.93% to 2.38 Swedish Kronor.
