Sweden’s second largest staffing firm, Proffice (PROEB:STO), today announced that Benno Eliasson will be the new CFO of the company from 1 December 2012. He is replacing Magnus Uvhagen who had been the firm’s CFO since the start of 2011.
Mr Eliasson is joining the recruitment firm from the ATG, the Swedish Horse Racing Totalisator Board where he is still Vice-President. Previously he had worked as Finance Manager at the Swedish Ikano Bank.
Proffice recently reported a strong balance sheet with first-quarter sales having increased by +9% to €135.0 million. Last year, the staffing firm saw a “record” year as 2011 revenue was up +16% to €541.4 million. This makes it the second largest staffing firm in Sweden, after ManpowerGroup, according to Staffing Industry Analysts’ research.
Proffice is a Sweden-based company, providing solutions within temporary staffing, permanent placement, consulting and outplacement. The temporary staffing division provides skilled personnel for short or longer assignments while the recruitment operational area offers recruitment consultants with experience in specialist areas. The firm has approximately 100 offices in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland with a number of subsidiaries.
