ManpowerGroup has been hired to supply staff to the recently opened ABBA Museum, one of Stockholm's major tourist attractions. The staffing company is recruiting museum staff working in the service sector and has officially been appointed as the museum’s HR partner.
The company said it is looking for people with knowledge of the entertainment industry who also possess language skills such as English, German, Finnish and Russian. The recruiter said the biggest challenge has been to find people with the right language skills.
“The ABBA Museum provides Manpower with an opportunity to once again prove itself as the market leader when it comes to finding exactly the right skills, even when the customer has very specific requirements and needs,” said Lars Forseth , President of ManpowerGroup Sweden.
According to research by Staffing Industry Analysts, Manpower is the market leader in the Swedish staffing industry with a market share of over 20%. The firm competes with international firms such as Adecco, Proffice and Uniflex.
Europe remains the most important region in terms of revenue for the American recruiter, but sales have recently slipped. Last month, the firm reported revenue declines across the region, including the Nordic countries where revenue fell -9% in the first quarter of the year.
