John Nurthen, General Manager, Europe for Staffing Industry Analysts will be presenting at APSCo’s Executive Conference on Friday 7 October, 2011 at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel, in London.
The conference theme this year is ‘The World is our Oyster’ and focuses on staffing market globalisation and the strategic decisions staffing companies need to make when thinking about expanding overseas. Break-out sessions are scheduled on a number of key countries and the event concludes with a panel session comprising global HR Specialists. Other speakers include Russell Clements, CEO of SThree, and Professor Eddie Obeng and Dr Elena Beleska-Spasova from the Henley Business School.
John Nurthen’s presentation is titled ‘If the world is our oyster, where are the pearls’. As the global advisor on contingent work, Staffing Industry Analysts is well placed to analyse market strengths and weaknesses. John Nurthen said, “We’ve developed a model for assessing the potential of individual staffing markets based on a number of criteria and I’m looking forward to sharing this with the conference delegates. UK staffing companies have been among the most adventurous in developing international networks and, given the rather fragile state of the UK staffing market, ambitious management teams cannot afford to ignore the potential of overseas markets.”
The cost of attendance to the Executive Forum is 395 Pounds + VAT for APSCo members (or 345 Pounds + VAT each for 2 places or more). For non-APSCo members, the cost is 495 Pounds + VAT (or 445 Punds + VAT each for 2 places or more).
