IT experts, medical specialists and sales managers will be amongst the most sought after professionals in 2013, according to forecasts compiled by Adecco Professional.
Companies are also very concerned about what is said about them in social networks and, therefore, try to find experts to monitor everything that is published that mentions their brands and products. For such tasks professionals with higher education or a university degree in computer science are highly sought after, especially with two to four years of experience in web programming and different technological languages. SAP consultants with a high technological profile and experience in strategic or financial management of companies also figure on the list of requests. The average gross salary is likely to range between €40,000 and €45,000 per annum, and can go up to as much as €65,000.
Demand for surgeons is growing fast, as well as medical specialists such as dermatologists, gynaecologists and paediatricians.
Sales managers were also cited by many companies as the most sought after professionals. After five years of recession, businesses need to build strong commercial teams in order to increase sales in 2013.
Engineering skill sets are also gaining traction, especially in the field of renewable energy. To complete international projects in this field, Spanish companies will require professionals in countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Chile, India, USA, Canada and Australia.
According to Adecco, commercial and procurement jobs represented as much as 24% of contracts for qualified profiles in 2012; followed by engineering, manufacturing and production (18.3% ), IT (11.2%) and health (10.1%), finance, accounting and auditing (7.3%), logistics, planning and transport (4.3%).
