Spain – CEO leaves ManpowerGroup after 25 years

29 November 2012

ManpowerGroup has been reshuffling its management team in recent months and the recruiter now reports that its Spanish division has a new CEO, following the departure of Carmen Mur after 25 years with the firm.

Ms Mur, who has “contributed to the success” of the company, is replaced as CEO by former managing director of Spain, Raúl Grijalba. The pair have been working together closely in the last three years. Ms Mur headed ManpowerGroup Spain since 2009, the same year that Mr Grijalba was promoted to managing director.

Mr Grijalba started his career at the staffing company in 1997 and has moved up the ranks since. In Spain, Manpower has a network of 130 offices and employs around 675 staff.

The company has also recently restructured its management board. Earlier this month, the world’s third-largest recruiter reported the departure of Francoise Gri, the firm’s president of Southern Europe. Chairman and CEO, Jeff Joerres, has also passed on  his President title to Jonas Prising and Darryl Green in November.
