Spain - Adecco Professional forecast for 2014

Adecco Professional have released the 9th edition of their report LOS + BUSCADOS (The + Wanted) for 2014. In this report, the company sets out its belief that although 2013 was the sixth year of the recession in Spain, for the first time there are economic indicators and forecasts of economic improvement and job growth.

In 2013, the company has revealed that its business was split among the following industry sectors:

  • Engineering, Manufacturing and Production (Ingeniería, Fabricación, Producción) 29.1%
  • Commercial & Sales (Comercial, Ventas) 21.3%
  • Computing (IT) 16.5%
  • Healthcare (Medical) 10.2%
  • Science 8.5%
  • Finance (Finanzas) 4.7%
  • Logistics (Logistica) 1.5%
  • Human Resources and Recruitment (RR.HH) 1.1%
  • Other Roles (Otros) 7%

In 2014, the company predicts that the following roles will be in particular demand

Medical & Science

  • Product Specialists (30,000 euros)
  • Market Access (Spanish exact English translation not available – between 50,000 and 75,000 euros)

Finance & Legal

  • Financial Controller (50,000 and 75,000 euros)
  • Credit Risk Portfolio Analyst (65,000 – 80,000 euros)

Sales & Marketing

  • Senior Account Manager (40,000 - 50,000 euros)
  • Key Account Manager New Technologies (40,000 - 60,000 euros)
  • Online Marketing Manager (45,000 - 60,000 euros)
  • Specialists in Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO/SEM) (40,000 - 50,000)

Engineering & Technical

  • Commercial Engineer (40,000 - 45,000 euros)
  • Plant Engineer (55,000 – 70,000 euros)

Information Technology

  • System Administrator Virtualization (35,000 euros)
  • Business Intelligence Manager(60,000 euros)
  • Java Programmer (45,000 euros)

 Professional Retail

  • Senior Textile Designer (45,000 – 50,000 euros)
  • Retail Manager (53,000 -100,000 euros)

Professional Logistics

  • Director of Operations (50,000 - 75,000 euros)
