Staffing agency Grupo Multipessoal, which is owned by Grupo Espirito Santo, announces a 51% growth in revenues in Q3 2009 compared to the previous quarter, mainly due to the strong growth in temporary employment.
Revenues were 37 million Euro and EBIT was up by 20% compared to the previous quarter. Temporary employment was the strongest growth sector and represents 90% of the company's turnover.
Multipessoal President, Alfonso Batista, said "temporary employment allows companies to 'externalise' non-core activities and allows them to concentrate on what they are good at. This gives companies the flexibility to easily adapt to changes in the marketplace and to control the fixed cost base."
