Staffing buyers in Norway are more satisfied with employment agencies than they were a year ago and loyalty towards them has also grown, a new study by the research institute EPSI shows.
Customer satisfaction levels are rising amongst companies in Norway using temporary workers on a regular basis and the staffing firm that outperformed all the others was ManpowerGroup which received the highest rating, according to the research. Jobzone came a close second and although rival company Adecco saw an increase in both customer satisfaction and loyalty, its scores were among the lowest.
All is not completely rosy, however, as the study also indicated that every third staffing buyer has issued complaints although staffing firms overall handle these “in an exemplary way.”
The study carried out around 800 telephone interviews with representatives of Norwegian companies in which participants were asked about customer satisfaction, their expectations towards the staffing firms, service quality, value for money and the loyalty they feel towards recruitment agencies.
EPSI, which also carries out similar research for Sweden, also said that in comparison staffing buyers are still more satisfied with employment agencies in Sweden than in Norway, as the former reached a higher index reading of 70, compared to 68.
