The dutch technical recruiter Maintec is attempting to combat it country’s skilled labour shortages by entered into a partnership with a welding school in Spain.
Through the cooperation Maintec is hoping to train technical personnel with the appropriate skills and certificates for the Dutch market. This will also benefit skilled Spaniards who are increasingly on the look-out for opportunities abroad.
Maintec Director Wout Oosterhof said: “It is still difficult to find the right technical specialists on the Dutch market, especially when it comes to welding as the qualifications and certificates are very specific. We are able to find wielding specialists abroad, but the problem is they do not always have the appropriate certificates.”
