The Dutch staffing firm USG People will rebrand its USG Capacity brand and will be renamed to USG Marketing, Communication & Sales Professionals from 1 May. The recruiter said the rebranding process will help it achieve a “cleaner brand portfolio” and more international recognition.
Last year, USG People was the fourth-largest staffing firm in Europe, after Adecco, Randstad and ManpowerGroup. A recent sale of some of the firm’s division may impact the company’s market position in Europe. Earlier this month, the company sold some of its general staffing units to rival Randstad in order to improve its financial position.
USG Capacity specialises in recruiting communication, marketing and sales professionals with at least university-college level education and three years relevant work experience, for both permanent and interim positions. It is part of the firm’s USG Professionals brand, the division for highly-skilled professionals.
Like a number of staffing companies, USG has seen challenging market conditions in Europe. In March, the firm posted a -11% decline in fourth-quarter revenue. However, its professional staffing segment posted a +2% increase in revenue despite falling demand for marketing and communication staff in the period.
