One of the largest staffing firms in the Netherlands, Olympia, may face millions in costs after entrepreneurs have attacked the company over a lack of transparency. The Dutch newspaper Telegraaf claims that 47 out of the 52 franchises affiliated with the recruiter are considering taking legal action against management.
The entrepreneurs running the franchises are unhappy about “wrongful” and high costs they had to pay to the firm over the years. They now demand greater transparency and a reduction in costs this year. The newspaper writes that the legal claim could amount to €40 million.
According to research by Staffing Industry Analysts, Olympia is among the 10-largest staffing firms in the Netherlands where it has a strong presence across the country.
