Otto Work Force, the staffing group which specialises in supplying Eastern European temporary workers to the Dutch market, has acquired the Polish operations of Olympia Flexgroup, the troubled staffing franchise.
Otto's Chairman, Frank van Gool, said "we are increasingly engaged in the fast growing Polish temporary employment market. The acquisition of Olympia Poland fits into our strategy of rapidly growing market share in Poland."
This development comes shortly after Germany-based Olympia Flexgroup AG announced cash flow insolvency last month and sold its Italian operations to UnoHolding S.p.a. Olympia's Spanish operations were recently sold to Synergie SA of France.
Olympia Flexgroup's German subsidiary Olympia Personaldienstleistungen GmbH and the Dutch subsidiaries Olympia Nederland and Olympia European Service Center BV are not insolvent and continue trading.
