Olympia, one of the largest staffing firms in the Netherlands, has appointed 52-year old Bram van der Wal as the new managing director of the company. He will take on his new responsibilities from 1 June, the recruiter said in a brief statement.
“Van der Wal has an excellent track record and proven track record in the staffing world,” Olympia said. He worked in a number of management positions before joining Olympia, including his role as managing director of Dutch staffing companies Start People Netherlands and Creyf's.
“With his personal, results-oriented and practical approach he will further develop the growth strategy of Olympia,” a statement read.
Olympia first announced in March that it is looking for a new managing director after former head of the firm, Jelle Bultsma, reportedly left his post in early May to take on a new position as managing director of TPS Group, a company specialising in recruitment solutions. Mr Bultsma had led the firm since 2009.
Olympia has offices across the Netherlands where it operates through franchises.
