Dutch staffing firm FSGroep released provisional figures indicating an increase in revenue during 2013 of +85%, rising to €25.9 million from €14 million in 2012. EBITDA also rose, year-on-year, from €0.9 million in 2012 to €1.2 million last year.
The company operates news website Flexnieuws.nl, which reports on events across the Dutch staffing market. The number of unique visitors per month to the website increased by +66% between December 2012 and December 2013.
On 1 January 2014, FSGroep announced that it had acquired a 75% stake in Ukrainian project sourcing company Sharp Minds, which specialises in sourcing highly skilled professionals.
Looking forward, FSGroep is confident that the company’s profit will continue to grow in 2014. The persistent tightness in the Dutch staffing market has increased the focus on providing affordable customisation to customers in a declining market with increasingly lower margins.
