Dutch recruitment company DPA Group NV (DPA: NL) has announced their acquisition of engineering firm Technipower BV. Technipower provides staffing in the fields of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering.
Eric Winters, CEO of DPA, said that the acquisition fits perfectly with the growth strategy of DPA becoming a specialism specialist. “Technipower provides project management and staffing for clients such as ASML and ECT. The activities are fully complementary to those of DPA.”
“As a new business unit DPA Tehcnipower will allow for the scaling and expansion of our activities in the Engineering and ICT segment. This will allow us to develop a more complete service for our customers,” he added.
This marks the second acquisition announcement from DPA in a month. In September DPA announced that it was acquiring bankrupt consultancy firm Cauberg-Huygen Consulting Engineers.
Financial details of the acquisition were not released. New data released by Staffing Industry Analysts reveals that DPA experienced the joint highest annual revenue increase between 2011 and 2012. DPA is currently ranked among the top 25 largest staffing firms in the Netherlands.
