Members of the board for recruitment companies AB Zeeland and AB Werkt unanimously approved the merger of both agencies, and the creating of a new agency, AB Werkt Zuid Nederland [AB Works South Netherlands].
The newly formed agency will continue to operate from Roermond under the leadership of director Jack Janssen. Janssen confirmed that the merger will not result in any job losses. “We expect that we will be an even stronger organisation. This is a good starting position. Nobody can guarantee job security nowadays; however, if people are made redundant it will not be as a direct result of this merger”.
AB Works South Netherlands will operate from five branches; three in Limburg, one in Braband Veghel, and one in Zeeland Goes. The merged agencies will have an estimated turnover of EUR 60 million (£51.3 million).
The company describes itself as a full-service provider of staffing with their roots were in agriculture, but they are now active in agriculture, food, manufacturing and landscaping. The combined company would be at the edge of our largest twenty five staffing firms in the Netherlands based on its combined revenue.
