Japanese staffing giant Recruit Group has announced a new management setup this week to speed up decision-making and “strive for greater user satisfaction.”
. Its core business, Recruit Co., has now changed its company name to Recruit Holdings Co. The HR business of Recruit Co. has been merged with Recruit Agent to create Recruit Career. Recruit Co.’s HR area business has also been combined with Recruit HR Marketing to form Recruit Jobs.
Apart from temporary staffing, Recruit Group provides other services through its independent subsidiaries specialising in, for instance, housing, automobile, lifestyle, and education. These have also been spun off into different units.
The Group has now established three operating companies to perform group support functions, including Recruit Administration, Recruit Communications, and Recruit Technologies.
“This new group setup will serve to realize the most satisfactory results for our customers, to enable employees of Recruit Group to proactively seek solutions for our customers and clients, and to deliver our services in a speedy and adequate manner,” the Group said.
At the same time, the company unveiled a new corporate logo as well as a new logo for RGF (Recruitment Group Family), the brand by which the company commonly operates under outside of Japan. Both logos use a bridge motif representing the bridge between people and opportunity.
Recruit Group was founded in 1960, now employing 22,000 staff with services ranging from human resources to sales promotion. The company operates 53 different businesses in Japan and 46 overseas. A full list of subsidiaries can be viewed here.
