Irish staffing firm Cpl Resources (DQ5:ISE) is looking for a new finance director after Josephine Tierney last week handed in her resignation to take up a job offer elsewhere, the firm reported on Friday.
Cpl Resources, Ireland’s largest staffing firm which last week report record sales, confirmed Ms Tierney gave notice of her resignation from the board of directors and as finance director last Friday. She has been with the recruiter for almost 12 years, having joined in 2001. The company has now launched an executive search to find a replacement.
Chairman John Hennessy said Ms Tierney had made “a very significant contribution to the growth and success” of the company.
“She has led the finance function successfully through periods of major growth and expansion, both in Ireland and overseas. She has also been instrumental in the negotiation and delivery of important acquisitions for the Group and has been a very effective member of the Board,” he said.
Cpl dominates the Irish staffing market with over twice the market share of its closest rival, specialist provider CAE Parc. The firm last week reported revenue growth of +13% in the 2012 financial year, driven by both temporary and permanent recruitment.
