The latest temporary employment index (Zeitarbeitsindex) published by the Association of Temporary Employers (BZA) reveals that 53% of temporary employment agencies expect their order books to fill up during the first six months of 2010. Only 3% expect that they will have to sack temporary employees during H1 2010.
44% of temporary employment agencies expect no changes in staffing levels during H1 2010.
The average forecast growth for temporary employment in H1 2010 is +6%, which is far higher than the previous growth forecast of +1.9% predicted for the six months of Q4 2009 and Q1 2010.
