The German association of staffing firms (BAP) has joined the umbrella association BGA, the leading federation of wholesale, foreign trade and services in the country. This will increase BAP’s national and international presence on the market, the association said this week.
The BAP will in particular focus on the services section of the BGA and will exclusively represent the area of temporary staffing. The BAP is a member of other large federations, including Eurociett and Ciett, which represent private employment agencies internationally.
The BGA claims to be the leading organisation in its sector, exercising influence on legislation by working with the German Bundestag, government and a number of ministries. The BAP has been working with the BGA for years, lobbying on the topic of temporary staffing.
