Germany – Orizon appoints new CFO

02 July 2012

One of Germany’s largest staffing firms, Orizon GmbH, has announced today that Christian Holz has  taken up the post as new CFO from 1 July 2012. The 36-year old industrial engineer is replacing Dr. Marcus Opitz and will run the business with the firm’s CEO Dr. Dieter Traub.

Mr Holz has been working at Orizon for over five years and first started as the Director of Controling while in March 2009 he was promoted to Director of Controlling, Finance and Accounting.

The firm said that Mr Holz will use his industry experience to position the company sustainably in both the national and international markets.

“It has therefore been possible to fill this very important role internally,” Mr Traub said. “As a close associate of Dr Marcus Opitz, Christian Holz is perfectly familiar with the challenges a CFO has to face in one of Germany’s top 10 staffing firms.”

“He knows our business inside out so that we can purposefully drive the entrepreneurial development of the Orizon Group in an ever changing temporary staffing market.”

Orizon specialises in recruitment services for small and medium-sized companies as well as international players. The firm operates via its subsidiaries which include jobs in time, RKM und RP Personal. Services include the provision of temporary staff, outsourcing, on-site and interim management in industrial, technical and medical sectors.

Last year the firm made revenues of €293 million and is represented in 100 locations across the country.
