Despite the economic crisis in Europe, employees in Germany remain positive about prospects in 2013, according to the latest labour market survey by Randstad. This found that 63% of employees deem the current economic situation in Germany to be good.
Nearly half (49%) even predict that the German economy will improve in the new year. When asked about the financial state of the companies they work for, 79% of respondents said their firms are doing well. 64% expect their companies to perform better in 2013.
“It is good news that employees are looking into the New Year with such optimism. The positive prevailing mood shows that employers have done a good job and opened up prospects for their employees in 2013,” said Petra Timm of Randstad Germany.
