Staffing agencies Adecco, Randstad and Réseau Domitis have signed an agreement on the prevention of accidents at work with construction giant Bouygues, web TV channel AggloTV reports.

The agreement is the first of its kind in the French construction industry and operates under the motto 'Zéro Accident'.

More than 800 agency temporary employees will follow an accident prevention course between the years 2012 and 2014. The training is mostly aimed at workers who are either less than 25 years old or who have been working in the industry for less than two years.

Progress will be monitored on a quarterly basis by all signatories to the agreement.
