France – Powerful business woman quits ManpowerGroup

05 November 2012

ManpowerGroup today announced that Francoise Gri, current president of the company’s Southern Europe division, will leave the company to take on a new post as chief executive of Pierre & Vacances, Centers Parcs Group based in Paris, from 1 January 2013.

Ms Gri started out as president of Manpower France five years ago and came to lead the Southern European region over the past two years.

She has been actively involved in the World Economic Forum Women Leaders Programme and in 2009 received the Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur, the equivalent of a knighthood.  Last month she was also named one of the most powerful women in international business by Fortune Magazine.

Alain Roumilhac, former president of Experis and ManpowerGroup Solutions in France as well as Segment leader for Experis Southern Europe, is now president of ManpowerGroup France.

ManpowerGroup is expected to announce its leadership strategy for Southern Europe in due course.
