FuturSkill, a subsiduary of ManpowerGroup based in France, has announced the acquisition of two training firms in France. FuturSkill provides skills assessment and training services, it was founded in 2010 through the merger of three ManpowerGroup-owned companies.
The firm acquired Homecom Institut, a provider of life-long training solutions for the IT industry; and the IT training arm of Hommes & Communication, a Microsoft-certified training centre.
With these two acquisitions, Futurskill hopes to take advantage of acute shortages in IT skills forecast in Europe.
FuturSkill specialises in the evaluation of human capital and skills development. The company is represented in three towns, Paris, Lyon and Rennes, and has over 50 employees. ManpowerGroup said it aims to expand FuturSkill in the future and establish a presence on the international market.
