LinkedIn yesterday announced the release of the French version of LinkedIn Recruiter, a flagship product aimed to provide hiring solutions to corporate staffing departments in France where the firm has over 4 million members.
“We are aiming to simplify the recruitment process. The French version represents a step in this direction and will help us reach out to even more companies looking to achieve the best returns from their recruitment process,” said Pierre Berlin, Commercial Director for Southern Europe at LinkedIn.
This localised version will enable human resources departments in French companies to streamline their talent acquisition process, the company said.
LinkedIn Recruiter started off as a candidate search toll, first launched in 2008. Users can search by a range of criteria, including title, seniority, geography, company and keywords to find contacts that best fit their search criteria.
It also offers recruiters the opportunity to find and communicate with “passive” candidates who make up 80% of the professional workforce, according to the company.
Recruiter was initially introduced into the French market in its English version. The French version will now enable HR departments to streamline their talent acquisition process.
