Groupe Crit SA (CEN:PAR), the France-based temporary employment and airport assistance specialist, has published results for the year ended 31 December 2009. Consolidated revenues were down from 1.45 billion Euro in 2008 to 1.12 billion Euro in 2009.
Staffing revenues fell by -25.1% to 943.6 million Euro. Multi HR services revenues fell from 198.8 million Euro in 2008 to 190.2 million Euro in 2009.
Revenues generated in France fell by -25.6% to 864.7 million Euro in 2009. This is in line with the overall development of the French staffing industry, which according to industry association PRISME fell by -26.2% during the same period.
Operating profits fell from 44.4 million Euro in 2008 to 13.7 million Euro in 2009. Profits before tax fell from 38.9 million Euro in 2008 to 11.4 million Euro in 2009.
Net profits fell from 26 million Euro in 2008 to 8.5 million Euro in 2009. Operating costs were reduced by -10 million Euro in 2009.
In early trading Crit's shares were up by +2.12% to 23.64 Euro.
