Groupe Crit has acquired the IT staffing firm Visiont which is based in the US, the company reported on Monday. The French recruiter has already bought two other US firms in the last four months with the new addition expanding its international presence further.
The acquisition was made through PeopleLink Staffing Solution, which Groupe Crit bought in 2011. The deal will help boost Group revenues as Visiont is expected to make sales of almost $16 million by the end of the year. Metrics of the deal were not announced.
Visiont is based in Iowa and specialises in temporary and permanent recruitment in the IT market.
“With this new acquisition in the United States, the Group should, by 2013, see the breakthrough of $180 million of revenue in the area,” said Groupe Crit.
Groupe Crit was last month rated as the seventh-largest recruiter in Europe in Staffing Industry Analysts’ ranking of staffing agencies in the region. The firm also made it into the top 15 list of largest staffing firms in the world with recruitment revenues of over €1.5 billion in 2011.
The France-based company has benefitted from its international operations after business in its domestic market remained muted. International revenue makes up around 15% of total sales. In October, the firm reported a slight fall in third-quarter sales.
