Groupe CRIT (CRIT:PAR), the temporary staffing, airport assistance and industrial maintenance group, has announced interim results for the first quarter of 2010. Revenues were up by +8.9% to 273.8 million Euro in Q1 2010 compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
Revenues from temporary employment were up by +6.8% to 221.1 million Euro. Temporary employment revenues in March were up by +16% compared to the same month last year.
Revenues from multi-services (including airport assistance) were up by +18.5% to 52.7 million Euro when compared to Q1 2009. Airport assistance has seen revenues growth of +28.8% to 40.4 million Euro due to the group's increased involvement in the Paris airports Roissy and Orly.
In France, revenues were up by +7.3% to 202.7 million Euro compared to Q1 2009.
Revenues generated outside France were up by +2.4 % to 18.3 million Euro. In Spain, which accounts for 64% of CRIT's international revenues, revenues were up by +8.2%.
The group says in a statement "with this successful first quarter and a month of April, which confirms that the market is picking up, we are confident that the financial year 2010 will show growth and improved profits."
