Adecco France has chosen MicroStrategy Incorporated, the international business intelligence (BI) software vendor, and Visual Crossing, a mapping solutions vendor, for their map viewing services. Business & Decision, an international consulting and systems integration company, will integrate the services.
These interfaces will facilitate reading the results of BI analyses performed on marketing and sales data and help improve decision-making, the company said. Through newly deployed features, Adecco France will also be able to offer additional services to customers, including job catchment area studies.
Adecco Group first implemented the MicroStrategy BI platform in the early 2000s to measure activity performance and improve customer services.
“Building upon this BI expertise, and with the concurrent development of geolocation technologies and uses, the need to position BI indicators on maps and to view simultaneously analysis results via geographic representation arose within our teams during 2010,” said Stéphane Burie, BI Manager of Adecco Group in France.
The integration of these services generates performance indicators on temporary labour and recruitment markets, while looking at specific geographic areas or economic sectors.
