Failed Dutch Employment Agency PE People is taken over by Luba Group

06 July 2009

Dutch specialist employment agency PE People based in Den Bosch, which went into administration last Thursday has been taken over by its competitor Luba Group in Leiden, Brabants Dagblad reports today.
Luba will take over PE People’s 1,400 temporary workers as well as the majority of their 100 members of staff.
Luba Group was founded in 1968 as a single office specialist employment agency in Leiden, The Netherlands. Today Luba operates nationwide, both online and via its network of 50 branch offices. Luba is part of t-group NV, a Belgian staffing company that is known in Belgium by its subsidiaries t-interim, a general staffing agency, and Ascento, that provides secondment. t-group has operations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland.
The much hoped for rescue of PE People, which specialises in supplying temporary staff from Eastern Europe, comes as a welcome surprise to its temporary staff who have not been paid by the agency for a considerable time.
