Members of Eurociett (European Confederation of Private Employment Agencies) voted at the organisation’s General Assembly in December 2013 to re-elect Annemarie Muntz as President. Ms Muntz has held the position since 2005.
Expressing her gratitude for the continuing trust of the Eurociett members, she said: “I will carry on with my work representing the private employment services industry. It is my conviction that our sector plays an important role as labour market intermediary in a Europe that is still affected by the economic crisis, which is why I continuously plea with decision makers for adequate regulation, allowing us to contribute to create jobs and foster economic growth.”
Ms Muntz previously worked as Secretary General of the Dutch Federation of Employment Agencies (ABU) from 1991 to 1996. She currently holds the position of Director for Group Public Affairs at Randstad Holding. In addition to her position as President for Eurociett, Ms Muntz is also a board member of Ciett, the International Confederation of Private Employment Services.
Seven other Eurociett board members were also re-elected at the General Assembly; Vice-President Alain Dehaze, Aart van der Gaag (ABU – Netherlands), Sieto de Leeuw (Randstad), Herwig Muyldermans (Federgon – Belgium), Tom Hadley (REC – UK), Hans Vink (Manpower), and Anna Wicha (Forum HR – Poland). The board, consisting of 13 members in total, offers a representation of Eurociett’s 30 national federation members from all corners of Europe and seven corporate members.
