68% of Europeans are happy with their jobs and believe that this makes them work better. An extra 12% are also happy with their jobs but do not believe that this has an impact on the quality of their work. 20% hate their jobs, according to new research carried out by job portal StepStone.
The French are the least satisfied with their jobs. 28% can't stand what they are doing at work followed by 24% in both Germany and Belgium and 22% in Austria.
The Danes are the most satisfied workers out of the eight countries surveyed. Only 14% hate their jobs followed by 16% of Dutch, Swedish and Norwegian workers.
The survey was carried out among 10,711 workers in France, Germany, The Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
