Denmark – Jobindex launches strategic partnership with newspaper

22 January 2014

Scandinavian online job board Jobindex (JOBNDX: DC) announced that it has entered into a job advertising partnership with Danish newspaper Berlingske Tidende, following increased confidence in the Danish labour market.

The purpose of the partnership is to provide Danish companies with the opportunity to advertise jobs on both of Berlingske Tidende’s websites, as well as on the Jobindex site. As a result, website users will have greater access to the job advertisements, and companies will be able to reach a broader audience.

Kåre Danielsen, Founder and Director of Jobindex, commented: “I see great potential in our partnership and we are happy to be working in collaboration with Berlingske, a company with a rich tradition and reputation for quality. We look forward to establishing closer contacts with Berlingske’s advertisers, readers, and users, an attractive target audience for us. With this collaboration, we will not only have the biggest advertising platform for jobs, but also the best platform for employer branding, which more and more companies are seeking.”

John Kristensen, a business director for Berlingske Media’s national titles, added: “We have chosen to work with the largest and most recognised player in the online job board market with a view to creating clear synergies for both parties. There is a very strong alliance, which I predict will have an impact on the job advertising market as we see it today.”
