Recruitment firm Hays Response, a subsidiary of Hays Belgium, has opened a new office in Antwerp in order to assist highly educated jobseekers find temporary work. The company will focus its efforts on younger workers that have studied accountancy, finance, insurance, and sales management.
Wilfrid De Brouwer, manager of Hays Belgium, commented: “We know that companies find it difficult to find candidates for higher level administrative and financial roles. And if there are candidates, the selection process takes too long. Our aim is to find provide a suitable candidate for that level of temporary job within 48 hours. After a few hours’ work, the company lets us know if the candidate is acceptable.”
Mr De Brouwer added: “We submit candidates to a thorough screening with personality tests and a personal visit to their previous work. Through intensive preparations, we believe that there is a very low probability that candidates are not suitable for the jobs for which we recommend them. After the temporary job finishes the candidates has a nice stepping stone to find permanent work.”
