Belgium — Blue collar temporary employment up by +20% year-on-year

According to the latest monthly update on developments in the temporary employment sector published by the Belgian Federation for Employment (Federgon), the number of hours worked by temporary employees in April 2010 was up by +2.27% compared to the previous month.

Month-on-month the number of hours worked by blue collar workers increased by +2.77% whilst the number of hours worked by white collar workers increased by +1.56%.


Compared to April 2009 the number of hours worked by temporary employees was up by +10.66% in April 2010.

Year-on-year, the number of hours worked by blue collar workers increased by +20.04% whilst the number of hours worked by white collar workers decreased by -0.43%.
