A new report published by the Belgian Federation for Employment (Federgon), entitled 'How the Young see the Labour Market and the Role of Temporary Employment' based on research among 1,001 graduates aged 18 to 26, reveals that the internet is the most popular channel for trying to find work. More than 40% of respondents use the internet on a regular basis.
45.3% of final-year students in search of work stated that they use temporary employment agencies in order to find work quickly and 70% of all respondents have either signed up with a temporary employment agency in the past or are currently signed up with them.
87% of respondents believe that the economic crisis has reduced the number of jobs available to them in the economy but only 60% believe that they will have difficulties in finding a job.
